I'm swapping from an A to a B injection pump on my TD6 and have some different fuel connection questions.
#1 Where does the upper fuel line on the big nut go? On an A pump, this would go to the banjo fitting on the back of the injection pump.
#2 On the very bottom of the B injection pump there is a fitting, below where the scavenger valve would be on an A pump. What does it connect to? Anybody have pics of a B pump and lines it would be a great help. Thanks Dennis

1. The line on the big nut (plunger input) comes from the output of the primary (last) filter.
2. That is the drain. B pumps don"t scavenge waste fuel from the inside of the pump case back to the tank because (supposedly) the inside tolerances were tighter and it didn"t need it. Mine goes to a 6" length of copper tube and down out of the frame. It does drip a drop of fuel occasionally.
Any more questions, my e-mail is open..... Brian

I'm sorry I can't be of any help, but was wondering if you could explain the benifits of going to a B pump to me? Justin
