H engine vibration

My 43 H was overhauled with new valves, sleeves, pistons, rings, bearings, ground crank, resurfaced flywheel and new clutch. It runs much better, except it has a vibration (as it did before the rebuild) at around 1/3 throttle. It smoothes out at higher speeds, but at 1/3, it vibrates everything. Could the flywheel have somehow warped over the years and gotten out of balance ? Is this common ? I’m sure its coming from the engine as I’ve taken off the water pump belt and the vibration is still there when the clutch is pushed in. Thanks for any help.

Thank you for your insights. Sounds like it's probably just the nature of the beast so I won't worry about it. Some day when I'm really bored I might try swapping the flywheel and see if it makes any difference.

I have two 1944 Farmall H's. One vibrates as you described and the other one doesn't. Don't know why and it doesn't seem to hurt it.

Thanks,
Mark

My 1940 H does the same thing, at about the same RPMs. It is pretty much normal. Seems like maybe IH had a fix for it way back when, different motor mounts maybe?
