Got the field dirt cuffed off but am I sure I want to haul this heavy beastie 1000 miles? I know, likely not toomany in the southeast and I'd like those hi-crop guys to see what a low-crop looks like. third party image

It would be so much easier just to take "golden boy" but I suppose everyone has seen one of these

Both of those tractors are unique enough that they deserve to be displayed at a " meeting of the red." I've never seen a Lp 560 wheatland up close but would love to hear it pull under heavy load. Very nice job in keeping those preserved. Hopefully they will have the roundup somewhere within driving distance of the northwest some day. I would be there in a heartbeat with the 33 Waukesha F-12. I tell ya what Cowman if you start towards Tenn with the 560 and you decide its too much to haul. It wouldnt be too far out of your way to swing through NE Oklahoma and drop that fellar off here at my place. LOL! Id sure give him a good home until you had to have him back! I say that it looks like one awesome tractor (course the 330 is nice too but the 560LP looks like my kinda tractor). Id like to make a couple of rounds with the 560 on that spring tooth. I also farm with this old equipment. Maybe we'll meet up at Red Power Roundup. See ya there. Have a safe trip!

Cowman there used to be quite a few 560's around here in central Indiana, narrow and wide front, don't think I've seen any single front tired 460 or 560's though. David

My understanding is that you have the truck and trailer to haul it, so why not? Going to cost you a small fortune in fuel, anyway. But, not many people have seen a BRIGHT yellow 330, either. Will your truck pull both?? That's at least 12000 lbs plus whatever your trailer weighs.

No I can't haul both. And I have no excuse. I'll just belly up to the gas pumps and whip out the plastic!

From my own experience the wind resistance is much harder to overcome than the actual weight, I know the 560 is bigger, but I don't think the wind will catch it too much worse than with Golden Boy. I'd say go for it.
