Found this on my way home from work. Couldn't pass it up. I know I was looking for a 706D but hey every thing works on her and the price was way right. Still got cash left over from the sale of my 460 and got the loader for free.
Phot is not to good as it was getting dark when I drove her in. To my wifes supprise.
I bet this hummer can roll that NH850.
Looks like I have an extra loader around, any one need a Du-al loader?

Kelly, that looks like a Vaughn loader, manufactured in Waseca, MN. Used to have one on our 706. They don"t stand up to much abuse.

Looks good. That going to be your loader tractor too? Have a fast hitch or 3 point? For your operation the gasser will be OK, maybe even better. (Keeps you from getting a different fuel tank or mixing up the cans)

Kelly: I know you are waiting for me to say something. Nice looking tractor, now turn that loader and gas engine in for a diesel.

Probably the best way to get a good 35 year old Farmall. For the most part the original diesels have a lot of hours. Those gassers however no one has been able to afford running one very much in the past 30 years, so the tractor itself is usually in very good shape.

For the money, good show, now you have a modern day tractor worth putting some investment into. Now you just need to keep eye open for a diesel engine.

I'd say that was a steal for what you got. I might be interested in the dual for my 560D. What kind of loader is that on the 706?

Not sure I will have to go looking for a tag on it.
Shoot me a email we can talk about the DU-AL
Here is a photo of it on my late 460. To big for a 460, 560 would be a great fit.

Kelly,

I've got a fast hitch for one if you need it. I am leaving out for RPRU so I won't be able to hear back from you until I return next week. But get with me if you want.

Kelly,
Congrats on the 706! Good-looking tractor. I've spent many an hour on a buddy's 806D. You're gonna love the power steering. Yeah, that will be a great haying tractor. Was your wife's surprise face :), :( or :0 ???

Nope she was mad. It was about a 15 mile ride home so got to enjoy the ride. Rides like a dream. I love that seat.
The thing that sold me on this as I was not looking for a gasser, was the shape of the main drives. Every thing was nice and crisp. Breaks great, shifted smooth. TA works great, Hydralics great. This old girl looks bad from sitting out but has only done drive way duty the last 15 years.

Right rear tire is new. left has about 60%. 2 new fronts.
$2900 was a steal I think.

I'd say. . .sometimes you come up on deals while in my neck of the woods you've got people thining everything they have is a gold mine. Even though it's a gasser it'll get the job done it has so far.
