A cheap option also is just stop at any lumber yard and buy 2 = 8 ft long 2 x 12s---lay them cross ways under rear wheels. If it is a hastle to remove the wheels. Just another option--good luck Dave NE IA

I moved mine 250 miles with one wheel on the rail. Got some strange looks from people on the freeway.

I move a JD A with the wheel hanging over the rail. Now that was a load!

I moved my F12 low rider style with the rear spokes cut off, the replacement wheels strapped to the sides of the tractor's frame and a buzz saw mounted on the front. I got several inquiries at rest stops going from southeast MI to Memphis TN. Most wanted to know what the heck it was and/or how does it work.

Like the other guys said, the wheels are adjustable. IF, and that's a big if, you can get the bolts out without twisting them off, you can adjust the wheels so the centers are dished in.

The rims also go two ways because the mounting lugs are welded off-center. Flip 'em around and put 'em back on so the lugs are closest to the outside. That'll narrow the tractor right up.

I think the bolts are gonna be rusted badly, and won't come out easily. If the bolts don't come, don't try to pull the wheel centers off the tractor. The bolts will just twist off and then you'll have nothing to roll the tractor on.

Since time is of the essence, just twist the bolts off that are holding the rims to the centers. Winch the tractor up on the trailer and strap it down. Load the rims and tires separately.

The engine being stuck is probably not the starter, if it quit while it was running. Your grandfather could have hit the starter button, but that's unlikely. Most likely there's some damage in there, and the engine will need to be rebuilt.

Seriously though Ryan, you can always unbolt the rims from the center wheel hub and roll it onto the trailer like that. Take a look at the pictures I have posted in tractor photos. I just moved my F12 by cutting the spokes off and rolling it on what was left. The wheels were both rusted out anyway. The point is, it wouldn't have fit either if the wheels and tires were good. I could have turned them around on the axles and gained almost 8". As it turned out the rh rim fell off the spokes as soon as we moved the tractor.

Good luck and enjoy.

Get a bigger trailer. Cut the side rails off the one you've got. Remove the rear wheels and let the axles sit on the rails. Or do like Dave Id said and turn the rear wheels around.

The last one I moved we just put the back wheels on the rails of the trailor and made sure they where center of the trailor wheels. Chained it down and off we wnet with not problems.

All you need to do is jack it up and turn the wheels around, or the rims.. There is around 8 different setting I think from changing the wheel pattern.. The first thing I'd do about the engine froze up, is loosen the starter bolts and listen to hear if the starter drive is stuck in the forward position. That happened to me once.
