Hi,
I'm just wondering about the identification of our crawler here. On the plate underneath the seat, it says model A D.A.A S/N 175214 . Any information would be useful. We also have another tractor (pictured in the background) with model A.I. S/N 205814. We use the crawler to launch boats here at the resort. Thanks.

That appears to be a home-built, based on a Farmall A or AI. Interesting rig, I've never seen one like that.

I put a direct link in so folks don't have to copy-and-paste

Pretty kewl! It looks like a halftrack style tracks running over regular tires. Is there a side shot?

Hi,
I just took a side shot of her. We adjust the tension in the tracks with a bar at the front of the tractor. Does anyone have a link to some basic info (HP, etc)of this model? We were also wondering if it would be beneficial in horsepower to swap and put the tracks on the other tractor. Thanks

I agree, it looks like a well done homebuilt crawler made from an A model tractor. I believe there was a track kit some after market supplier came up with but that didn't work or look like this one. It looks like you would have to use the brakes to steer. Interesting little unit.
