Finally got around to working on the C this week after 10 days off. I hate to even tell you what the problem was ! Timing off. Man those timing marks are hard to see through the hole in clutch housing. Painted the wrong marks on flywheel. Timed way too high. Next time I'll be more careful, won't soon forget this. Figured it was something simplw though. Many thanks for all the help !!!

TDK, I have been busy with wheat and baling and such so I haven"t been on enough lately, but I"m glad to see that you got the problem fixed! Aren"t those simple problems the ones that drive you nuts the most? The ones I hate the most are when it takes me forever to figure out a problem and then when I do, I realize that I had gone through the same process a few years back and didn"t remember it!
I"ll bet it runs well now.
