Have a gentleman trying to sell me a Farmall M and he calls it an M-100. Anyone familiar with the 100 term?

Thanks for all the feedback gentlemen, especially the humor. No, I haven"t seen it yet but I plan to. I"m glad to hear that I"m not the only one that has no clue what an M-100 is. I have heard of an M-1, and an M-80 but thats it. Will let ya"ll know after I see it and take some pics.

I can give about a 100 M numbers and all are vehicles. They're not farm tractors. .M7, M8, M9,
M16, M26, M47 M48, M50, M60, M88 and the M1 to name a few. I tested all these vehicles. Except for the first 4 which were mobile Field Dynamometers. Hal

Are you sure that tractor isn't an IH 100 with the C123cid engine? No M needed. Hal

I've never heard that term before. When I was a kid, we used to buy M-80s for the 4th of July, and the military used to have rifles that M-1 Garands. Both of these items could really go bang and create destruction. A Farmall M-100? Did it go bang also? Please pardon the humor, sometimes I can't help myself.

Actually, bang is quite an understatement for an M-80.

Scotty,
M100 is not THAT much bigger than M80.
Go ahead and start that puppy!
I'll stand over here...
