Mark is correct about the location of the drain. If your tractor has power steering this location is also where the return line attaches. Unfortunately this will only drain the reservoir, not the pump or lines. I would loosen the lines where they attach to the pump to drain lines and pump. If the fliud is milky then I'd do it this way to get all of it as possible out so as not to contaminate the new fluid.

I have two 300U"s w/power steering and the drain is on the left side of the resevoir base as stated. But both of mine have the ps return line going to a plug on the front base just left of the pump lines. The screen is about about the size of a paper towel tube and is about $80. I think the reason the oil is milky is because the o-ring seal between the motor and the pump is shot and the motor oil has been mixing with the hyd. fluid.
