I busted this piece on my 756 tractor and am having trouble finding a replacement on the net. I would think it waould be called a hydraulic valve add on, but I sure can't find anything like it. Would very much appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Wow, how'd you break that? That's a hydraulic control valve, 706, 806, 1206, 756, 856, 1256, 1456, 826, 1026, 766, 966, 1066, 1466, and 1566 all used the same valves. You need to know if that is a open-sided valve or a closed-sided valve before you order a replacment from a salvage yard. Looks like an open-sided valve to me, does your 756 have two control valves, and is that the inside valve? Does it have oil passages on the other side? Post a picture of the other side and I'll tell you for sure.

Yes it is an open sided. I located the part today with help from you guys, I sure appreciate it. I did decide since I had nothing to loose to try to braize (sp?) it first. It was my first experience with cast and all went well so far. I put it back together and no leaks or seaps as of yet.

How did I break it? Well I am not very good at working on things I know nothing about....I noticed a small leak on the end and tried to tighten the nut....the rest is history.

I like my drill doctor. I am a mess at sharpening them by hand. The company I work for is to tight to buy *real* bits so I get to use it quite often.

Huh? I don't own a drill doctor. I might have posted on a different forum well over a year ago asking if they're any good, but I'm getting real good at sharpening them by hand.

I don't have part # for the 756, but a 1066 one is #529 910R93. It's a Hyd Control Valve. The only difference is the little piston in the center of the valve is better in a 1066. Either valve will work on either tractor. Any junk yard will have these, but pick one with a chrome shaft that has no pits in it. The three bolts that hold this together has to be torqued to a certain ft lbs. (which I did'nt look up, but can). Have someone, if you can't, take the new one apart and replace the o-ring around this piston and other o-rings also. Once got a valve from a yard and the o-rings they sent to go bettween the valve and end plate were to big, use IHC stuff.
