Does anyone know if there is a place that sells chrome bolts for Tractors. I would like to modify my H - have all bolts, washers, nuts chrome as well as manifold, carb, muffler, gear shift handle, starter switch...etc. Also is there some sort of parts list/catalog that lists the sizes and locations of all bolts, etc. on the H? Thanks

I used to would disagree with chroming out your H. That is until I saw a Chromed Cub at the RPRU in July. I gained a whole lot of respect for that style of restoration after that. Do what you want to do and enjoy! Kevin

Your business, but I agree with Paul on this one -- what you want to do will make it look really weird.

the IH parts book will tell the fastener sizes. Automotive custon shops might have the chrome bolts. Don't let the nay-sayers talk you out of it. It's your tractor and you are paying the bills. there's plenty room in this hobby for all of us.

Ain"t no way I"m gonna tell you how to totally screw up a good "H". You want chrome, why not restore a 59 Caddy. It has all the chrome you"d ever want to play with. Oh well, to each his own.
