I coppied this from the cub site. For Everyone To Read Here. I was a good guy & printed some of the forms off of the manual server and gave them to some friends & acquaintances in a local tractor and antique engine club.

I got a call from one of the guys today about it. Seems his tractor has already been sent a gas cap.(serial # used) He called a couple of the others that picked up the forms that he knew of. Long story short out of 11 request for caps 3 have had the serial # used already. Funny part 2 of these tractors were purchased new by the present owners. One of the gents contacted Navistar and told them he bought the tractor new & that he had made no request until the present for the cap. After a long discussion they told him the address it was sent to over 2000 miles from his address. They also told him that they have had numerous request for the same serial number from as many as 3 different addresses.

Now I have been seeing a few of these new style caps on the EPAY ????? ????? ????? ????? ????? ????? ????? ????? ?????

What I want to know is, do they replace the small gas cap on the Kerosene burners? I lost the one off my 42 H.

I wondered why anyone would buy a new style gas cap on eBay when they can get one for free.

Lets see, how many Farmalls do I have? But no, I have never sent for a "free" gas cap. I did buy one for my 656 diesel, Cost me $27.00

Let me see, now. If there were 300,000 H Farmalls built and I have 2 (allready got my free caps for those two), I could send in the serial #s for 299,998 Farmall Hs and get free caps. Look out, E-Bay, here I come. (Give or take a few for the folks that all ready got theirs also)
