I have poor hyraulic flow for 3-pt and loader
as in they operate very slow. I pulled the mounting plate for the top link (3-pt), not knowing really what to expect, or what should or shoudn't be is more like it. Let me tell you, there was oil just gushing in there. When I operated the rockshaft all down or up, it seemed to spray more, same with loader. There was some oil coming out in a stream (upper front left) possibly return oil passage? Most of the oil gushing seem to come from under the seat where the lines come out but couldn't see exactly. Any help on where I should go from here would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like blowed oil rings under the top deck.

MTA there should be oil coming down from the top to oil the rear end does not mean you have a oil leak all the return oil dumps into the back. The thing to do is to huck up a hose to a remote coupler and put the hose in the dipstick tube and put the lever so the oil is pumped into the dipstick tube then look to see if you have oil running down in the back if so you have a leak if not you have other problem.

Sounds like it very well could be a small hole in one of the steel lines under the seat. These carry a lot of pressure and with years of dirt, rust, and kicking boots, those steel lines will corode. Have to take the cover, maybe the seat off and find exactly which line has the problem. Hope this helps, Harley

Thanks for your reply Harley. That makes sense and I will check that out. Someone else told me that it was an indicator that the pump was shot, but I couldn"t understand why as I believe that the pump is submerged. I will pull the cover and check as you advised tommorrow. Thanks

Hey MTA,if you are looking inside the case, and I assume you are, your problem is internal, not under the seat. I think Aces or the tracor vet can tell you the steps to determine what has happened.
