thanks for the help fellas. I went to the imp and they said that the oil gushing out inside the rear end was normal and for lube. He thought that the lack of hyd pressure was a leaky o-ring at the pressure port. Not knowing any better, I pulled the pump, and I have 2 ports. One o-ring was in kinked, but they do not list parts for an 806 with 2 ports going into the rear. Mine is a 64 sn 1923. So now they can't find me the right gasket and I am really thinking that this isn't going to solve anything. Does anyone know of the 2 port system? Or any thoughts on this whole stinking situation? Thanks Mike.

I have no idea of what you are talken about here and i know the 06 seires inside and out the hdy. pump has and in and an out port and reqiures TWO o/rings to mount to the plate and only one o/ring on the high pressure side the mounting gskt. seals the suction side . We can spend all nite on this deal the best and cheepest way to find out what is going on with the hdy system is to get the tractor on a flow rater and see what you have for GPM and pressure on the hitch pump and do the same for the MCV . Then you know if ya need a pump or a releif valve . With out the flow rater you had better have a bottomless check book.

T.V. My checkbook is already sounding hollow, lol. The guys couldn't find a gasket in their books that have 2 holes for ports, yet I showed them the pump cover and I have 2 ports on the tractor. You are correct in that this is going to n&d me to death, and it's gotta heckuva start. If I can get past this gasket/o-ring, and have no luck, I will drive the tractor to town and have it checked w/flowrater. Thx Mike

Do you have a digital camera? Could you take a picture of it so that it would make it easier for us to understand what you have? I myself have never seen the inside of an 06 rear end, so I would have to consult my service manual before even attempting to answer your question. From memory though, I would have to agree with tractor vet, I don't recall there being two ports on the picture in my manual.
