I recently purchased a cub lo-boy 154. The carberator on it appears to be the wrong one. I just need to know what carb came on the 154's. Any info or pics would be appreciated.

It may be that someone has changed it to the Zenith carb. Does the base where the carb mounts to the manifold appear bigger than where it mounts to the manifold?

yes, the carb is bigger than the manifold. This wouldn't bother me if it seemed like it was getting enough gas. I've cleaned the carb thoroughly but it still won't run unless fully choked.

Shaggy:

The carb is your regular IH 3/4" Updraft Carb as found on the Farmall Cub, International Cub Lo-Boy, C-60 Power Units etc.

You can find all that info under the Numbered Cubs and Cub 154 on the Cub Manual Server at the link below.

The link is not active on this forum, so you will have to cut and paste it.

Hope this helps

I think the 154 used the same carb as the Farmall Cub. Later models used a 3/4" Zenith, which has been used as a replacement on the earlier tractors.
