I was thinking of a project for the winter, how odd would a 3x14 semi mount plow look? There is an old 5X14 the the fence row and my 504 sure is not going to pull it.

There was a REAL Nice Series IV D-17 at the Gathering of the Orange a week ago with a semi-mounted 3-16 A-C plow. Plow sure seemed long for only a 3-bottom.

504: Often this is a good way to make use of and older plow. with many of them you will find damaged or worn beyond use frogs, beams, etc, etc. The semi mount is quite easy to do this with, plus items not damaged or worn give your own parts dept.

I have made many 3x14's and 3x16's semi mounts out of 540-560 and 710 seires plows and it is not hard to do just remove the tail wheel assembly and remove the rear bottoms and rebolt the tail wheel and remount the land side depth wheel and shorten the coupling pole if done correctly it looks like factory and they plow nice i did up and 540 that was a 5 bottom for a neighbor that has a Farmall 504 diesel to a three bottom .

I wouldn't look any weirder than the 3-14 3-point plow I used on my 2810 Ford with one share removed. If it gets the job done.....!
