I was curious of what kind of tractor was on the tv show green acres. I think it some kind John Deere because of the cross motor design. But I not a jd man.

There is also a Farmall, or at least a red tractor with a wide front, in the opening credits when they are doing the overhead shot fron the plane. You have to have quick eyes or in my case TIVO to catch it.

The one they ride together in the opening title scenes is a John Deere model D. Visible flywheel on the side. The Hoyt Clagwell looks like a Fordson to me, but I am not an expert on those. Hoyt Clagwell is a name dreamed up for the program.

I thought it was a Fordson but I didn't want to open mouth and insert foot. I was watching for an episode on nick at night to figure it out.
