Can anyone tell me if the hydraulics on a cub is capable of providing power for a log splitter? What is the PSI of the system and the GPM? If it would work would there be anything I need extra on the hydraulics?

You would be better off to build a log splitter and use a 10HP engine with a 2 stage pump with a 3 inch cylinder. You can just run the engine above a fast idle and split a lot of wood. Use the Cub for hauling the wood. Hal

Not realy not enough GPM and not enough pressure . Now if you want to get creative there is a chance that you could make a hookup on the PTO for a remote pump there should be enough HP. to run a pump that will give 12-14 gpm and 2000 PSI .

1200-1500psi, 2.2 gpm. Youiw ill need a diverter block that installs between the lines and TC unit, but I think you will find the pressure is to low unless you have a very large cylinder.
