Blue Guy: On all 856 the main side decal was INTERNATIONAL The word FARMALL will be on the 856 model decal beside the radiator. That change occured at the beginning of 1968 and new 56 series models.

Until 1967 and 06 series the main decal on side of engine hood was either FARMALL or INTERNATIONAL. With the introduction of 56 series that all changed to what I've listed in first paragraph. There are two exceptions, 656 introduced in 1965 and the 140. 656 used 06 type grill and decals and changed at end of 1967 with other models and 140 just went with the times from 1958 all the way to 1979. What ever grill and decals was current on larger tractors, 140 had the same, but still remained a 140.

This applies to completely built US tractors. British and German built may have followed suit, but I'm not saying that.
