It's a bad one. It's leaking at about one quart per 2 hours. Was plowing yesterday, and after about 5 acres, noticed a lot of oil glistening over by the hydraulic pump. Checked the engine oil and NONE on the dipstick. Put two quarts in and it registered just below full. I could see oil nostly covering the pump, real wet behind the pump and on the front of the right side of the engine. The generator belt was wet, BUT the fan belt was dry! The oil was dripping all around the front of the oil pan, but I think it was coming from above and following the oil pan mating surfaces. The fan blades were slinging oil off onto the fan housing. I looked at the crankshaft pulley thinking the front seal had failed, but it was not wet behind the pulley. Basically, the whole right forward side of the engine was oiled except the fan pulley. I'm fairly sure it isn't hydraulic oil because it hasn't lowered on the dipstick. It seems to be getting worse, because this morning the engine leaked about one quart in one hour. I shut her down after that -- and the thing was pulling so good, new TA I installed and all. What do you think it is? Thanks in advance.
