Its been a bad week first I soak the pulley flange for a couple days on the H motor I am building then I get the torches out and heat it up give it a whack with a hammer and big brass punch and CRACK Shoots. Then I was planning on using the pretty nice Rockford clutch that was in the tractor origanely and today after I put my new ring gear on I noticed it was warped the clutch that is so I try to straighten it and the darn thing Cracked . Dang. Now $120.00 later I ordered a new Rockford clutch . I figured I got close to $1500.00 into this motor now I might as well go for the good clutch. And thats all dealer cost on parts and machine work. The best part will be How the heck do I break this thing in in the winter??? Lets see what I break tomorow or the next day. LOL JON

Jon, You should've had a puller made like this Cub puller using a hydraulic jack or ram. Hal
PS: It would need to have the cutout wide enough
to clear the pulley hub and the holes for the allthread far enough apart to clear the pulley.

No it was the waterpump belt tightening pulley that I cracked I see I can buy a new one for $25.00 or so but I put some braze on her and will try that first. JON

That's not so bad then. Hal

Any snow up your way? Western MD, WV and western PA all had snow.

Once that lake efect machine starts up we will get it then though and with the temp of the lake it will probly come in feet not "s.OH well could live in a place thats warm I guess just would not be the same. I wish it would quit raining though it must be getting quite soggy where you are. JON

I stayed up and watched that World Series game
until about 2:30 this morning. Sure was good game
and took 14 innings. The White Sox may take the Series tonight.

It has to be soggy in some places around the state. I live on a hill and it drains very well.
When's that H going to fire up. Your homeowner's insurance may have covered your tractor. Hal

trying to get her fired up in a few days before the big Surgery. If I dont it will have to wait till next spring or summer. I got my clutch today and its a solid metalic. Not the butten type looks like a regular clutch but all metalic. HMMM they did not have a 10" rockford in stock so they sent this BMD clutch. I dont know if I want to use it or not. JON

It comes and goes. Even with a high speed connection I often have trouble. Sometimes it helps to turn my computer all the way off. I seem to have the most trouble when I use the standby or hibernate functions with XP. This used to be one of the fastest sites, now it is the slowest. Wish Kim would change to the new format, the RPM site works fine.
