1942 Farmall A Picked it up on sat. morn and had it running by noon..All it needed was a set of wires. The guy had automotive wires on it. The mag wouldn't push a spark down them. Fired right up once I fixed that. It has no electrical system besides the mag, so it's a hand crank start. I looked in the hole for the starter, and it has a ring gear, so I'm in the prosess of looking for a starter for it now. Nice little machine...

I've got lots of starters if you need one. Also I would like a cover plate to go over the starter hole. Do you have one to trade?

A good rebuilt one can be had for 125 or so but you will have to pay for the core as you dont have one. Just remember you need the terminal for the sw at the bendix end the terminal at the brush end. You will also need the foot operated rod and bracket for the starter sw. I have some send e-mail.
