I bought one of these at an auction today, genuine IH, never seen one before. It has the 300-560 prongs, an adjustable bed, and featured heavy oak wood when they threw it on the ground 30 years ago. Are these a little scarce or have I had my head in the sand? Also got a FH two bottom rollover plow.

What you have is probably a #301 Fast-Hitch Platform Carrier. They are awful handy at times! They are somewhat rare, and usually bring a pretty healthy price. Just the points with the boards rotted off will bring $250 to $300 around here. One reason they are so rare is that a lot of them were butchered to make bale forks for moving large round bales. I have one in my collection. Here's a picture.

Well they aren't around much. Though I do see them from time to time. A big use for them anymore is a seat at tractor shows on the back of the tractor. Very handy things..

Just curious about the 2 bottom Rollover plow. I picked one up last year but would like to see some pictures on how the cylinder mechanism is supposed to look as original. Mine is NOT even close, lots of extra welding and supports. Have you got some pictures you could post? Is it a 210 model? Migraine

I have one for my Super C which was hard to find. Not that they are rare but people who have them won't sell them unless the tractor is being sold also. Very handy item for utility work around the ranch. You got the ones which are usually available - left back in the corner of the shed with the wood rotted off. Very easy to finish back to new condition. I used treated wood and galvanized bolts on mine. I'll bet you find lots of use for yours once you put it on the tractor.

My 300U came with one, although it was minus all the wood and was modified slightly to accept a log splitter to be carried on it.I have modified it again for carrying a weight drum (55 Gal) of cement.I dont know what traction would be like without it.So glad it came with this rather "rare" accessory.Only problem is it sticks out so far you need to watch when backing.
