Howdy, Just started putting a new wiring harness on my Farmall 200-- I can't seem to get the fuse block/ignition switch assembly out from under steering column,so that I can see and work on it. Also the wire that runs from the ignition coil to this box seems to turn real light gauge when it gets to the fuse box.Is this ok? sully Thanks in advance,,I've always gotten great help from you guys.

Joseph: You mention fuse block, as though there in maybe more than one fuse. There is only one fuse on Farmalls of that era and that is for lights. The ignition is not fused at any point. The wire from the coil goes directly to the ignition switch. It sounds as though you may have modified wiring. All wiring terminals at dash of a 200 are quite easy to see and work on once battery has been removed. You shouldn't need to remove any switches or the one fuse holder, unless they are defective and need replacing.

Well there,

That's got to be it,there is a white plastic fuse holder that has several fuses in it.
So a previous owner did a little fooling around.
I have had a problem with sometimes the charge indicator indicates good charge and sometimes discharge.I was hoping new wire harness would fix it. But it seems like I'm going to have to take a closer look. I think maybe the replacement part was used for it's integral pull on/off switch.? Hey thanks a lot! 200 in the north east Then what should I do?
