What is the best way to jack up one rear wheel. Can you put a jack under the axel housing? Is it better to put the jack towards the middle of the tractor or more to the outside of the axel housing. I have to move one tire in on my H.
Thanks
Carl from Michigan

Can put jack under housing -find a flat spot. I always put cribbing blocks under the drawbar or somewhere just in case!

I use a heavy floor jack under the horseshoe drawbar.

Put it under the axle housing, and be sure to keep your feet out from under the wheel. Most jacks are not very stable, particularly since you will have to rock the wheel to get it to move. A jack stand under the axle is safer if you are actually removing the wheel.

"A jack stand under the axle is safer if you are actually removing the wheel." Thats good advice since you may have to beat on it some to break it free.
