I read that part, then read past that part, as I thought that adjustment was just for stoping the shaft from turning, guess I am wrong as usual. I certainly will trust this advise, but need a little more help. 1. The IT manual says "remove the adjusting screw cover". Mine doesn't have any covers over these screws, I will assume there never were any or they are gone, okay? 2. Then the manual says "Hold the operating lever so that punch marked dot on pawl is aligned with the punch dot on quadrant as shown at (X). Is the "pawl" the thing that the thumb release on the operating lever engages and disengages in the cogs, and are the cogs the "quadrant? If so, there should be punch marks on both of them, right? 3. Lastly, there are two adjustment screws, a front and back. The manual seems to refer to them both as singular and plural, and I assume I adjust both the same way, is this right? To respond, simply show my question #,"1","2", or "3" and your response. Thanks for the help. I have the common tools and the willingness, I'm just not too bright!
