how many bolts is there to take off a sup. m radiatar and where are they at?

Two at the bottom,(If still original, these will have castle nuts and cotter pins). They are stud bolts that screw into the bottom of the radiator, so they may unscrew out of the radiator. There is a brace at the top attached to the gas tank support near the oil/temp gages. Fan shroud needs to come off, which is held by several small bolts. Also, you have to remove the steering shaft which goes through the top tank of the radiator.

Differnt tractor, he said Farmall M not a 300----

Add this to HAAS'reply...Disconnect steering rod at oil7 water guage location...remove large plugat front of stearing box,WATCH OUT for oil!...unscrew rod clockwise and pull it out the front WATCH OUT more oil...this is 80/90w gear oil...

Different tractor, but same removal method. A 300 is nothing more than a miniature M with extra stuff bolted on it, and a different hood.

I restored a Farmall 300 and there were only two bolts underneath the frame, then you disconnected the hoses and she comes right out.
