I'm forever about to put a JD #45 loader on my '47 H. I learned via some posts here you're supposed to put gussets from the front of the frame rails to the back axle or bottom of where the loader mounts on the back axle. This helps keep the stress off the bottom of the torque tube, which has been known to break during loader use. Do a search in the archives for the words 'loader' and 'gussets' and maybe 'trusses'. Allan in NE has posted some pics of how he did this with his H. They don't come up with his archived posts but maybe if you ask him nicely, he'll post them again. Also don't forget to tighten up the torque tube bolts - they frequently come loose and can also be a point of loader-use breakage.
