Just curious. my local dealer had to look up the price, they sell so little of it. $60 Canadian for a 20 liter pail. I need 17 US gallons in my 666, so I'd need almost 65 liters, or 3 pails and a bit. I'd have to buy 4 pails. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be worth it to make a road trip over the border to buy it.

Paid $44 at lunch today from MAPA dealer (their brand hyd oil) The brand they did carry was a good bit cheaper. I also purchased 5 gal gear oil and it was $39

I'd shop around for the best price.

Most tractor or farm/ranch supply stores will carry hy-trans (hydraulic oil). Just purchased 2 1/2 gallons for right at $20.00 US, including tax, from a farmers coop.

I just bought 5 US gallons the other day for 29 dollars and change from an equipment dealer. No sales tax on farm supplies here. Good luck...

Bought a 5 gallon pail of Hy-Tran back in the spring. I don't remember exactly, but I think it was about $35 or $37 (US). Thirty something dollars anyway.
