I have trouble with my H"s carb. I used it all day yesterday to plow snow with. Ran Great!!! (since the Super C is down!) Anyway I went out to start the H today and it fired right up but then it died. I took the fuel line off and It was poring out. Thne I took the plug out off the Carb and got fuel there. It runs for three seconds then dies. I can keep it sort of going if the choke is closed. What is work here?? Do I need to adjust something ? Thanks for the help Andrew

Allen I did what you said but was unable to keepo it going. SO I pulled the carb and clean it out. nothing in there that I could see blew it out with air and put it back together. Fired right up and purrin' like a kitten now!!. I think there may have been ice or something in there?? Thanks Andrew

Sure coulda been.

I've got one ol' heifer now that had a bit of water in the tank.

I'm trying to "work it out" by keeping the sediment bowl cleaned out. Dumb plan on my part, but I really don't wanna pull that tank either. :>)

Andy,

That's the way they are; put it back together.

Start it with no choke, when she starts to die, feather that choke until it warms up a bit and will run.

That's the way mine is, too. Start it cold with no choke, then out and in quick when it falters. 'Bout every fifth time I start it up I suddenly remember I didn't turn the gas on. I haven't gotten down off the seat quick enough to get the valve open yet. Wm
