Mornin' Guys,

Called the salvage yard down in the Platte Valley yesterday and explained to 'em that they had given me the wrong sway basket for my small chassis tractor.

Standard pat answer was, "Yeah, we should be able to find ya one".

So, loadin' up the wrong iron and headin' down the long road again. Geeze! This old red iron is runnin' me in circles. :>)

You guys have a good one,

Allan

Are you going to take those 06 series lower carry arms back to and get the correct ones?

MNS,

Just got back from the yard. Spent an hour nosin' and looking thru their carcuses and finally found enough stuff to make 'er work.

I've still got to use the 806 lift links, lower arms and the sway linkage but it will work. At least I found that silly drawbar swing plate affair. Has a weld but still serviceable.

Whew! What an ordeal! And that little gizmo must weight 100 lbs! Way heavier than the large chassis one.

I love the pic. Reminds me of a red ribbon in a bed of pine needles.
I hope their opinion of the availability of the sway basket is accurate.
It is seasonally correct to avoid irritating people for some four hundred odd miles of usless travel.

Is that a painted pine needle also?
