Happy Holiday's,

Well, the snow thawed and the spring and drive on my starter were shot. Going to pick up the starter today and also pick up a 6 volt battery. Everyting I can find is a 625 cca for around 50 bucks at either orshlens or TSC. NAPA was around 75 bucks.

Any suggestions on the type of battery for a 6 volt are appreciated.

P.S. All the wiring has been redone on the tractor double 0't gauge.

Thanks for your help-

There are only about 4 battery makers in the US,so you might be surprised, the same company may be making more than one of the batteries you have been shopping.NAPAs are made by Exide,Car Quest is by Deka,Mopar is made by Exide, etc.Exide has purchased a couple other battery companies over the years (GNB,Eastern Battery among others),so the label on the battery is hiding its true source.Every battery carries a Pro Rated warranty,so no matter the brand(Everstart,DuraLast,Champion,Interstate,Die Hard...etc),they all play by the same rules.
