hi,
I bought a good working 3 valve off a full size 350 thinking it might fit a 350 utility. I got the thing home and it is huge, and I now have doubts that it would fit our utility. We are trying to fit our utility with a factory 2 point. It has power steering, and we bought a priority valve off a utility to divert the hydraulics. But I think we still need to get a set of valves off a utility and not a plain 350.

any help would be appreciated
thanks

thanks guys, you have been a big help. I thought for sure I messed up by buying the 3 valve from the 350.

Robert,
I have a 300 utility with factory power steering, fast hitch, loader, and 3 hydraulic valves. The power steering priority valve is mounted at the rear with 1 one hydraulic valve on the outside. The other two values are located to the front. There is a pipe that feeds oil from the rear valve to the front valves. The rear valve operates the fast hitch and the two front operate the loader. As Hugh MacKay said, the valves are the same as on a row crop 300/350 but you will need to find the hand levers from a 300/350 utility. I believe the hand levers are also the same as on a 600/650. Send me email if you have questions about this setup.

Al

Robert: If you split those valves down to individual valves they are exactly same on Farmall as on the Utility. You'll notice bolts go through valves holding them in a bank. You can add or delete by just using longer or shorter bolts. The length is different by width of valve body for each. The hand control levers will be different as will the plumbing. The hand control levers are one direct lever to shaft of valve for the Utility, whereas the Farmall has levers to right side of dash with a linkage going to the valve shaft.
