I have got the shop cleaned and the NH68 back together and out of the way. Took the loader off and started on the tin. Man I wish there was some step by step instructions for this. I assume I need to get that gas tank out of the way.
Tomorow I think I will get all the fluids drained and that gas tank off. Maybe more. Will see.
Getting kind of scared. This is alot bigger girl Than I am used too.

be sure to block rear wheels. It is also not a bad idea to have some type of support under the drawbar. I always used a bottle jack and just used it to put pressure on the underside of the bar. I have only seen one tip over backwards, but always practice saftey first.

Kelly, it's much easier to split the tractor rather than remove the fuel tank. Lots more room to work, you can check out the clutch, and you can do the engine out of frame.

Yep , i would pull the engine and KB ya can place a short 4x4 under the fuel tank support and that will give ya enough room but ya have to remove the four bolts on the tank support and the two bolts that hold it to the steering support . But since it is best to do and out of frame on them Cut two wedges and drive them into the ft axel support and block the rear under the bellhouseing and use a set of spliting stands that roll and wheel it away then support the engine with a cherry picker and remove the stands and remove the left frame rail . If you do roll the engine away from the chassie make sure that you leave a bolt in the top and bottom of the frame rail on each side to support the rear of the engine. And always remember that it is only a tractor and not rocket sicense Bigger heavier so Please be safe think before you do and mark the Hdy oil cooler lines and make sure that they go back on the way they came off.
