Well, actually you won"t win much, but I thought this would be fun. I just picked this up today at my CIH dealer. It is for the brake hydraulic lines on my 7140 Magnum. You can see the package says made in USA, but there are letters stamped on the part that say CHINA. Not sure- I guess that means it"s made out of ceramic, like the china on your table. LOL!
To be fair, there is a steel check ball and spring inside of it. That"s probably how they figure it"s made in the USA, -the ball was installed here maybe.
Anyway, make your guess. I will post the answer right above this post.

Let's see, $105, no $107.13. How close am I? THAT little elbow was THAT much???? I'm afraid I could have gone somewhere and got a whole truck load of them for that. Harley

Hi Harley,
Apparently you can"t get a truckload of those from China for that price! LOL!
I guess it"s the check ball and spring inside that make it so valuable. Otherwise I"d just go to the hyd supply place to get one.
Hey, as long as I"ve got you here, my brother is selling his "91 FLHTP for $6500. Whaddya think? I love to get it, but no money for that after farm repairs are done.

P Backus, that's robbery, isn't it ridiculous what they will ask for a part because they know you have to have it, that should be about an $5 item. Looks like about $.50 worth of metal in it. A dealer stung me $58 for two bearings that I bought three years ago for $11 and $9.50..what else is new.. Mike in Exeter Ontario
