I got a 1066 that I plan on pulling in the farm stock class with. I still want to be able to use the tractor for farm work, but I dont wanna come in last place every time! Lol. So what mods can i do to my tractor to give er a lil more get up when i wanna hook it to the sled? Ive got the screw in the pump turned out 11 turns and thats about all shes got. Is there any thing else i can do to get a lil more power? Some have suggested puttin some alcohol or transmission fluid in the tank when i go to the pulls but i definitely do not want to hurt my motor. Any information is appreciated. Thanks, Josh.

What are you at now for HP?One addition and still use it in the field would be a Holset 3lm 466 turbo more capacity and heaver built than the T04 Airresearch.Any more you start blowing stock head gaskets.

It's going to be a no win deal tryen to pull a 414 against what most are claming stock when the insides are anywhere from a 466 to 640 cu. in with anywhere from a 13 milimeter pump to a Hiper Max 15 Milimeter pump and 3 LM charger or even the 3 L S charger with big cams and all the other tricks that they don't talk about Farm stock is not the FARM STOCK of yesterday even in the anti. pulling around here there is no such thing as a STOCK M OR J D A they all have been bored out stroked camed extencive head and carb work and not one of them would last half a round at a plow day that is why we do not have the fun things around here i think that my S/MTA is the last stock and i do mean stock anti. and my 4/18 flat top M & W pistons and my 58 Hp. won't even get close to some of the H's letlone any of the M's and they even cheet when they are made to dyno so they can win that 7.50 trophie So if ya want to play with the guys that have a bigger check bok then the best way is to find a rag and build it just for pullin and leave the farm tractor as a farm tractor alot less in repais and it is ready for the field when ya need it and not broke down if the pulling tractor breaks and they do break is down ohwell i gues i miss this pull but we'll get them the next week.

This would be a better question for the guy/gals over on the pulling forum. The big question would be how close do they check the setups in the farm stock class? Do they let them run up to 3,000 rpms or are you limited to factory rated rpms + 10%. Then the question becomes do they enforce these rules. Unfortunately too many pullers try to pull in the stock farm class but they only thing stock on their tractors are the decals.

Yeah no kidding. Im just lookin to have a lil fun. Kinda funny when you go to a pull and "farm stock" tractors are shootin a 2 foot flame out the stack. Ive only been to one pull so far that actually had pretty decent rules. Stock turbo, stock pump, 3K Rpm limit, stock hitch. I'll post this in the pullin section.
