Is there any way to modify hydraulics on an H so it will be two way hydraulics and not just one way for a ram cylinder,Maybe a valve or is there some modification to make to stock system???

Excellent posting Steven!! Your instructions and photos have helped me immensely. I have 1 more question for you. I would like to install the setup as you've described but my tractor has a live pump which is plumbed thru the belly pump. How would I connect my pressure and return lines off of my control lever (single spool) in this case? Thanks in advance.

If you have the live pump, then you should have the "christmas tree" valve which is a 2 way valve. If you want 2 remotes like Steven then come out of the relief valve to your new valve then back to the inlet of the christmas tree or eliminate it entirely.

If you want to keep your single acting liftall for the loader, I would tee from the pressure line of the live pump and plumb in a relief valve to protect the pump. Run the return to the reservoir or the suction line with a tee.

Set relief valve to a max of 1200 psi or you can break camshaft gears or split the pump.

Had some time so I threw together a quick webpage. If you have any specific questions, please email me!

Here's the short story:

1. Get a 2-way open center spool valve (can be 1, 2, or 3 levers).
2. Run a hose from one of the front belly pump outlets to the inlet on the spool valve.
3. Run outlet of spool valve to a Tee in the drain of belly pump.
4. Run hoses from spool valve to safety disconnect couplers on the back of the tractor.
5. Tie the lever of the belly pump back to circulate the oil through the spool valve.

Here is the hydraulic valve mounted to the axle:

Front pressure outlet, this hose goes to INLET side of spool valve.

Return hose from OUTLET of spool valve going into the drain hole. (I tried a tee on the inlet and it puked oil out the breather).

Belly pump lever tied back crudely with wire:

Steven, I like your set up. The only thing,I probably would have mounted the valve the other way up and not have all those elbows on the plumbing.
