Why is it that everytime i try to work on something it starts a snowball effect of rolling down hill?

First thought i'd try and get this mag working but after i seen what was involved ,decided to move on to something else.

After straightening the lower grill bracket i noticed coolant leaking. Decided to do some investigateing and seen a plug in the drain port. Nothing to turn just grimey black something. I took my screwdriver and started to poke and pry. Whoops i poke it in and coolant is spilling in the floor. Grab a bucket, wont fit, grap smaller bucket. Ok now to remove radiator to retreive whatever it was i just poke back in the hole. Hummm.. valve core inserted backwards in it. threads rusted away. Guess it just keeps getting better.

time to clean up floor absorbant.look for something to fix drain hole

fan assembly is leaking oil, gota get radiator cap, soup can doesn't look right.

Guess we are just gluttons for punishment. Thanks for you time. Gotta feeling i'l be spending a lot of time at the putter.

I can handle the time part, it's the money part that gets cardiac.

Already turned the lights off and shut the door for today. Got he carb off and cleaning it up. Been on propane and need to rebuild carb. Finally found the model number. Just one question. While looking in the parts section for this zenith carb 10514. Is the kit for the 10514A the same?
