That all depend on if its a 4" or 4 and 1/8" if its a 4 1/8 no the block would have to be bored. My SM has 4" fire crators in it. So the 4" would work. JON

Magman, SM sleeves will not fit a regular M block without machine work whether the SM sleeves
are 4 or 4 1/8 ID. Pistons are a different story.

An M has 3 7/8 pistons and a 4 1/8 bore in the block.A super M -400 has 4" pistons and a 4 1/4 block bore. A 450 has 4 1/8 pistons and a 4 1/4 block bore. You can put 4" pistons in an M but you use thinwall sleaves made for the M block, just as the 450 has thinwall sleaves made for the 400 block. Or you can bore your block .125 and use the 4 1/4 OD 450 sleave set. You can also run 450 sleaves in the M block without sleaves. Jake
