My cub wont start, it just roll's and roll's and nothing, gas pour's out the carb. I thought it might be the mag so to prove it I took a plug out gounded it to the block with the plug wire still on I cranked the engine over, there was a fat blue spark. So I removed all the plugs and not a drop of gas on them. So it must be plugged, how would I ever unplug it?

El Toro it still wont start, I put my hand over the carb and it has good suction, I also took each plug out one at a time and put a cap full of new motor oil in each cylinder and still nothing. The plugs have no gas on them I think its pluged. How would I unplug it, would I have to take the head off?

Take a look on the side of the carb. and you will see what appears to be a brass bolt. Remove it and see if you get good gas flow. Also clean the holes in the bolt real good. I am assuming that you have the gas turned on at the fuel bowl? Also disconnect the gas line at the carb. There is a screen there that may be plugged.

You should hold your hand over the throat of the carburetor and see if you have any suction. I would check the compression too. This is where
your manifold vacuum is created by having a good seal on the piston rings and the cylinder wall
not being worn. Squirt some engine oil into each cylinder and then see if the engine will start. The manifold vacuum is what pulls that atomized gas into the combustion chambers. Sounds like the spark is ok. Hal

If it has good suction that's what you need. Hal
