The belly pump on my H needs the check valve replaced as the point hitch will not stay in the up position. Is there an overhaul kit you can buy or do you have to buy individual parts?
Thanks

There is a spring and check ball to hold pressure and the spring can collapse. Get an I&T manual, pics for the belly pump are good. the parts are available, call 608.455.2411 and they can probably get you what you need.

Rollie, One thing to try is to make sure the hydraulic lever is up far enough. My son's H wouldn't hold up the loader. I pulled up the lever about a 1/2 inch and it didn't drop any more. I adjusted the lever bracket upward and it is fine now. Something easy to try before you tear into the hydraulic unit. Roger

Although kits are available for the Cub (and I"ve heard rumors of other touch control kits), IH never made a kit for the H or M belly pumps. So you will need to buy the parts separately.

If the cylinder on the hitch is set up to be used as a two way device (double acting with two hoses), it could be the piston seals bypassing instead of the B.P. (just a thought) I do not know about kits.
