Ran my 560 out of fuel discing at night and can't seem to bleed the air out of the system now that I put fuel in it. This is an early model without a pump. The injector lines have been losend and do get wet around them, but not much fuel coming out or any air that I can see.

hello I cant recall where the fuel tank is on the 560,, but I have a 2500 A backhoe , same style as my 454 ,, and that is a bear to get fuel to upon running out, the tank is in teh back behind the seat, I have to face it down hill, the nose that is so it will even get to the fuel hose, sometimes I have to take the fitting off the filter, because t hat is t he first place to get fuel too, I have to pull that hose down a little to get the fuel pass a bend in teh pipe, get it flowing hook it back up loosen the air valve on the top of filter get fuel from there , and continue loosening injectors and whatnot till all air is out, sometimes i can get it to 1 injector and ether it, but that worked only once, (after 2 times you would think I would leaern,, my FIL had a holy fit when he helped me once ,,,)pat

Fred you need to bleed the rear filter first, when you get fuel with no air, go the final filter, bleed it untill there is no air. Then go to the inlet line to the pump, break that connection, when it has no air you're set to go. Usualy the injectors will bleed themselves via the return line.

You need to bleed the air from the filters first, then the line to the injector pump and then the injectors. Another way to do it would be to pull it with another tractor but that may take a good long drive even then to get it to start.

What about the lines to the fuel filters and the injector pump? Those are the important ones. Once the injector pump can get ahold of some fuel, it'll pump it up to the injectors.
