Look on the connecting rod,if it has 5 numbers not counting suffix letters for the part # a thicker rist pin bushing (IH used to call them adapter bushings ) has been installed. If so all you have to do is get the bushing installed for the big pin.If the rod has a 6 number part followed by a suffix the rods have been replaced and you can only use small pin with this rod. IH used to sell several different sets of overbore piston sets with small pin for M and others that is the reason the adapter bushings were sold.

You should get new rod bushings with your sleeve kit like the kits from aicatalog.com. You need to check your tractor's SN when ordering a kit.
There's a kit for SN 278050 & up and another kit for SN's up to 278049. Hal

You have to change the rod bushings for the bigger piston pin.
