Farmall B/Serial # question

Hey guys, I got the Farmall B picked up from the engine overhaul this past weekend. Wasn't much fun loading and strapping, as it rained hard all day. Engine starts right up, oil pressure at about 45-50 PSI all the time, and no smoke. (Sure is a nice change from smoky and barely any oil pressure six years ago, when it last ran) Began degreasing, so I can move onto fixing the brakes, lights, body, paint and new tires. The serial number plate reads: Model B # FAB 75501. According to this site, that would make it a late 1941? Also, can someone tell me what the FAB stands for?
Thanks
DJL

I don't think anyone really knows what the prefix letters stand for, I certainly don't. I am sure that they stand for something that made a lot of sense to the designers, and differentiated between the different chassis, but has been lost through the years. The M is FBK, the W6 is WBK, the A is FAA, the B is FAB, I think the H is FBH, and I think the W4 is WBH. I am pretty sure the F stands for Farmall and the W for Wheatland (or another W word that stands for standard tread.

"FAB" doesn't stand for anything. It is just the prefix letters IH used for Farmall B's.
