I have a friend that wishes to sell me a 200 High Clear. I haven't seen the tractor yet. Is there such a thing? I can't find reference to one. Come on Gurus of the Red. Is there a factory tall 200? It has 42" tires and tall legs on the wide front. He believes it has rear wide axles too.

In the late 60s I was loading trucks during tomatoe harvest and one of the farmers their was a 200 set up like they discribed with 42" rear and tall front tires and some sort of step down transmission. It was set up to speed up cucumber harvest with two lay down plat forms that workers picked the cucumbers and dropped then on a conveyer that loaded them into a bin. I never seen it run and it stayed on the ranch until they built houses a good idea that didn't pan out. Allan

Slorol: I have seen a photo of one of these, and I'm thinking it has to be in YT photo galleries. Like the others I don't think it was factory, looked to me like 42" or 46" wheel designed to mount on the standard SC 36" wheel hub. It was wide front using about 19" wheel, same idea as you would see on AV or SAV

If you check photo gallery, I'm not sure whether you should look for C, SC, 200 or 230. I'm quite certain it was not a 240.

I have seen a picture somewhere, it was a C/SC/200/230, don't remember. Don't think it was factory. If I remember right the rear wheels were the standard C wheels, but the rims had extensions on them to bolt to the wheels. Don't remember if some company made extensions for the front axle or if they were similar to the AV wheels.

IHC did not make a high version of the 200. Longer rear axles were an option. If it is modified, it is a shop build. Pay accordingly!! QR

Bill,

That would be an interesteing looking tractor. Not sure where they would have found the tall spindles to fit a C-230 WF. Could have been from an AV?. I'd be interested in a photo as well as others would be too. The 00-30 series HC were 100 and 130. No 200-230 were IH factory. The 100-130 HC's has Hi-Clear stainless emblems just below the numbers on the hood. Although this might be one-of-a-kind, it likely has "shade-tree roots.
