Sorry to sound a little annoyed, but are you going to start a separate thread asking where to get each and every nut and bolt you need to fix up your 460? A much more efficient solution would be to simply make us up a shopping list, and post it, because most of the parts will come from the same place anyway. At the very least, the answers will be the same pretty much across the board. Where do you find the fuel sending unit? Start out at your friendly neighborhood CaseIH dealer. They still have many many parts for those tractors because they're still in daily use on farms all across the country. You'll be surprised at what they have. If the price seems outrageous, you can try to find it elsewhere, but you probably won't. That's why the price is outrageous. They're specialty parts manufactured in low quantities, and/or they've been taking up shelf space for 40-odd years, and that costs money. If you strike out at the CaseIH dealer, odds are that it's no longer available ANYWHERE as a new part. Aftermarket manufacturers deal mostly in large-quantity "consumable" items like steering wheels that fit many generations of tractors, and parts for tractors that were built in much greater numbers than the 460 (there were about 300,000 Hs built, but only about 35,000 460s, for example). Your next best source of an original part is a local salvage yard. I believe there's a website with a salvage yard locator at epartdirectDOTcom or something like that. If you get desperate, and you've got a good relationship with the parts guy at the local auto parts store (Napa, AutoZone, Advanced, CarQuest, Parts Plus, etc.), you might be able to take your sending unit and find something suitable there.
