well the tranny fluid and wd 40 worked .didnt take much to loosen it.like i said with the plugs out and the rocker arms removed it spun with the starter ,made a big mess though (oh well),but after i spun it over a while with the starter there was antifreeze on top of the head?????
next i will see if i have sprk and try to get it going .i believe it will need an engine kit.
the tractor is tight and beautifull.
thanks im alittle worried about the antifreeze????
when i was spinning it over with the starter i had the oil psi gauge half way up

Ahh, Steel sleeves and aluminum pistons. They well stick faster that anything. I like to use Marvels Mystery Oil and # 2 Fuel mixed half and half. After you get it loose keep putting oil in it and keep turning the engine over for about 4 or 5 days before you try to start it. That helps get the rings loose. When you try to get it started, take the air hose off from the carburetor and squirt Mystery oil into the carburetor just as soon as it starts for a few minutes. This will get the top end lubed up.

I've always used a combination of either automatic transmission fluid and WD-40 or Diesel fuel and WD-40. Has always worked in maybe a week or 10 days.Pull the plugs and put combination in, let stand for a week to 10 days then try turning over by hand first. Then drain oil, refill and see what happens.

Before you open up the engine try this. Fill the cylinders with tranny fluid and let it sit a day or so. Then with the plug out try the starter I can almost bet it will tunr over. What has probably happened is the cylinders have rusted a little and that is why its locked up. I have done that on 10 plus engines and so far never had to open one up yet.

Those two are very unlikely, 99% sure you have seized pistons -- do as the others say and let it sit awhile.

If I read your post right, the pistons are stuck in the cylinders. If it ran a year ago, it shouldn't take much to get them unstuck. Those muffler caps can get moved in the wind and let rainwater in. I would never leave a tractor outside for months at a time without a secured can over the muffler.
