I'm in the market for a M&W governor for a farmall M. Been watching ebay. I noticed there is someone buying them up ("crazytractor" is his ebay name) He has bought 5 or 6 in the last few weeks, mostly in the $400 to $500 dollar range. Anybody with any ideas as why he needs that many?

I see that too. I was looking for one for sometime, I went to the dealer and they can still get some form of a rocket governor not sure if its M&W. However they wanted like $560.00 for them. We got lucky when we bought the Super H that it all ready had one in there :") good Luck Andrew

I got a 53 Super H that has a 4 weight governor on it from the factory. No M&W stamped on it anywhere,, found it when I pulled off the cover. I was like,, HELLO!! Our Super M has one too, no M&W markings,, So the supers must have had an option for a 4 weight governor? The Super H I have for sure came with it,, I bought it from the original owner,, he said, what ever is on it is the way the dealer brought it out to the farm. ChadS
