I have a 706 with dual hydralics when setting on the seat the vavle body on the left is bad. Can it be removed and a joystick for a loader be plubmed in there and if so how hard is to do?

It is a very early model serial #25xx I bought it on a retirement auction from a guy who bought in late 60s when italked to him afterwards he said he never used the second valve. The ram that runs in ad out of the valve body is rusted and badly pitted It has the steel lines that run to the front for a loader but no lines out the back I would like to have dual hydralics on it, but I would like a third outlet for the bale unroller

Well if the spool is that bad guess there is no hope for it so guess you will have to find a good used outside valve and as far as putting in a third valve just no room but if you an find the rear line kit then you can stack those lines on top of the lines going to the ft. outlets and have duals on the back along with the ones on the ft. now if you want three outlets on the rear then ya need to get one of those splite outlets that have the electric spliter . Finding a good valve should not be to hard to do . and all you will need is some O/Rings. as for the second rear remote you will need the correct lines and fittings and longer fitting bolts. they are out there ya just have to go shopping.

I'm with the vet on this one: FIX THE PROBLEM.

There's likely very little wrong with the valve that a little PB Blaster and a few orings won't fix. Worst case, you can get yourself a good used valve off a salvage tractor. Anything from a 706 up through a 1586 will fit, so you should have zero problems finding a good used one at a good price.

You may not be able to just take out the left valve. The valves stack in from the right, as I recall, and the left valve is the last one in the stack. Unless you have a really early 706, the end cap is cast as part of the left valve. Remove the left valve, and all the hydraulic oil will come blowing out from under the seat through the open holes. You probably don't have any choice but to fix the valve.

Well ya you can remove it and put a end cap on it or find another valve or just find a power beyond end cap and plum thru it of do what i would do and fix that valve that makes more sence to FIX what is there then going on a witch hunt as a 06 with dual hdy. is more useful then one with only one valve and that way you have the best of both worlds .
