I am looking for a platform to convert my 1468 to a non-cab tractor. I have the fenders and stuff, but I need the platform and maybe the one set of shields behind the battery boxes. Any help would be appriciated. Mike (507)360-6748

A. This is NOT the place to post wanted ads, but just as a suggestion, have you tried your local tractor salvage yard? A platform off anything from a 706 up through a 1568 will fit.

B. Do you have the cab off? Do you even know that you need a platform? Usually, the cab just sits on top of the platform. Once you have the cab off, the platform is already there. Look underneath the cab. It should be obvious.

Is it a year-a-round or a factory cab like on the 66's? the factory 66 cab has a platform underneath but it's not the same as a non-factory-cab unit.

The Hiniker cab on my Dad's 1066 doesn't even have a floor of its own for the most part. There are filler plates up by the doors, and a heavy mat to cover the whole thing, but the stock platform is what you're putting your feet on if you're anywhere near the seat.
